The receiver works my Arris IP815W (Frontier) Set Top Box. I wanted to mount the unit behind the TV and still have control of STB. Plugs into the Ext IR In port on the back of the Arris box. I also found a HIDEit Uni-S VESA mount, Adj Small on Amazon to hold the Arris box to the back of the TV using two of the 4 VESA mounting holes.
